We were so excited to take Aiden to the pumpkin patch for the first time this weekend. We knew she wouldn’t have any idea what was going on and that she wouldn’t remember any of it, but we loved being there as a family. It was such a beautiful day and it was, by far, the biggest pumpkin patch I’d ever seen.
Aiden enjoyed the sunshine and napped in her stroller while Matt and I played a few rounds of corn hole (we have an ongoing battle), ate a ton of junk food, picked flowers from a gorgeous flower field, watched a pig race and picked pumpkins right off the vine. Every so often, Aiden would open her eyes, peak at her surroundings and then fall back asleep. Of course, she was wide awake and looking all around the second we got in the car. *eye roll* Regardless, these “first” experiences and memories with her are so special to us and I can’t wait to watch her enjoy all of my family's Halloween traditions.
